Researcher & Writer
"Situated at the confluence of Artificial Intelligence, Computational Optimization, and the Philosophy of Artificial Fallibility."
I am a Chilean Software Engineer and researcher based in Barcelona. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science & AI from the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA-CSIC) & Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
My work is not confined to technical syntax; I explore the epistemological foundations of what we construct. From combinatorial optimization to the ethics of algorithms, I seek to understand not only how machines function, but what they signify about us.
I author both technical and essayistic works, attempting to bridge two seemingly irreconcilable worlds: the trial-and-error approach of building software and the fluidity of philosophical thought—a duality I currently explore through the lens of "Architectures of Error".
Academic Consistency
Consistently awarded the highest academic distinction (Maximum Honors / Cum Laude) across Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral studies.
Areas of interest and academic digressions.
Research focused on optimization algorithms and multi-agent systems. Exploring how machines can solve complex problems in a distributed manner.
Differentiating the causal origins of human-cognitive versus artificial-stochastic systems. An epistemic inquiry into how these divergent architectures manifest as distinct "Architectures of Error" in code generation.
Acquiring industry knowledge through high-level consultancy. A profound interest in solving real-world problems by bridging the gap between theoretical research and tangible software solutions.

I am always interested in discussing new research projects, editorial collaborations, or simply debating the future of AI.
